Off Leash Education Center

RestonDogs, Inc. supports off leash dog parks in the Reston, Virginia area, promotes responsible dog ownership, and provides social activities for dog owners. We invite you to join our group to enjoy many benefits and exciting activities. We are the oldest dog park advocacy group in Fairfax County.

Fairfax County requires each Off Leash Dog Area (OLDA) to have a sponsoring group, which is responsible for the following activities:

• Educate park users about the ODLA rules
• Raise money to build the OLDA
• Raise money for many park improvements, such as benches and landscaping
• Report repeat rules violations to the Park Authority
• Maintain a point of contact (such as voicemail and/or a website) for park users and the community

Due to unique circumstances at Baron Cameron, we also voluntarily pay for weekly trash pickup! Our volunteers empty the trashcans inside the OLDA into a commercial bin removed by a private contractor. RestonDogs also provides clean, new plastic bags for all park users to pickup after their dog while in the OLDA.
